Home - The Consortium
The Bedford Milton Keynes Waterway Consortium is a group of 8 organisations that have agreed to work together to help deliver the Bedford Milton Keynes Waterway. Its Joint Delivery Board meets twice a year, oversees the work of a Programme Executive, jointly funds key pieces of work and encourages its members to use their powers and resources to support delivery of the waterway and to act as ambassadors for the project in their respective spheres.
Vision
The Bedford & Milton Keynes Waterway will be a new 26km link between the River Great Ouse at Kempston in Bedford and the Grand Union Canal at Newlands in Milton Keynes. The Waterway will be located within a Waterway Park, a green corridor between Bedford and Milton Keynes.
